Before and after care
Our students begin their afternoon with a healthy snack such as fresh fruit, served with milk or 100% juice.
Homework follows snack. This is a big help for busy parents who only have a short time after work to finish homework before bedtime.
Our game room fills the social needs children have to play with their friends afterschool. Our game room is fully equipped with block corner, dramatic play, table games, and lots more.
Playground and Art Time
Our playground is another great place for social play with friends, as well as meeting the active needs that school-agers have after a busy day in a classroom. On a rainy day, our afterschoolers can divert their energy into their art work.
Our buses pick up students at all William Penn School area schools. If your child attends another school district, contact our office with the information need to serve your child and we will make accommodations.

Our summer camp is a blend of camp activities mixed with a unique reading program, daily activities, performing arts, theme events, group clubs, and more. The campers are grouped by age.Weekly Trips
Our campers go on a trip every week . You will find us at Bowling Lanes, a rotating theme-of-the-week trip site, and Smith Park or the Theater.
Our games room is fully equipped with, block corner, dramatic play, table games, and lots more.
Summer campers can choose to participate in one of four group clubs on Fridays. These include Cooking Club, Sports & Competitions, Fancy Crafts, and the Adventure Trip Club.
(TBA)The campers perform a musical number every Friday at 4:30 for their families and the other students.
We use process-oriented art, which stresses the technique instead of the end product. We prefer a blank page over a coloring sheet or craft, because we value a child’s creativity.
Summer Reading Program
Most of our campers read the equivalent of 50-100 picture books every summer. Our older campers also write lots and lots of stories. The unique incentive program that motivates all this reading and writing includes patches and trophies given at Awards Night, toy prizes and candy pulled from the Friday grab bag, extra trips, activities and goodies sold in the Thursday auction, a trip to Chuckee Cheese for those who read or write off the charts, and a grand prize of dinner-and-a-movie for the top winners in each age group.
Summer Camp Awards Night
We end our summer camp with an Awards Night. Every camper receives patches and a personal “best” certificate. Most receive additional trophies and awards for our reading and writing program.
Afterschoolers and past students may attend all day when the students are out of school for holidays.
